I've long studied the strong link between interior design and its impact on our mental health, and I’m eager to explore these connections further with you. So, moving forward, I intend to delve into more mindset, environmental design, sensitivies as they relate to your interior, and biophilic design topics here on my Substack. After all, personal growth and interior design are two sides of the same coin—both aim to craft a life that feels good and resonates deeply with who we are.
Currently, I'm immersed in a remarkable 6-month coaching program with the legendary Mel Robbins, renowned life coach and best-selling author. You might know her from The Mel Robbins’ Podcast—she's absolutely phenomenal.
The strides I’ve made in her program have been transformative. Tasks I once found daunting are now within my grasp, tackled with newfound courage and confidence. I don’t look at my life as being a mix of hard and easy things, good and bad times. I see my life is a direct result as the choices that I have willingly made and that I am responsible for all of it.
But another astonishing change actually extends beyond me—to my friends and, quite unexpectedly, to my 10-year-old son, Aidan.
Yesterday, Aidan had a special bike riding exam at school, a two-hour ride where his performance was evaluated by a teacher. He was naturally anxious beforehand, yet he confronted his fears and faced the day with bravery. For me, that was already a triumph. That was already a win.
The real surprise came when he got home.
