Super post Holly. I know when I allow my ADHD to take over and house chaos to creep in, it affects everything from my state of mind to my sleep. Thank you for this wonderful write up.

Yeah it's so true, I sometimes lay in bed and think about how badly I need to clean out my 2nd wintergarten or my cellar room!!!!

I have long associated de-cluttering and organizing with a sense of control AND ease, but this essay takes me so much further and shows me more ways and steps to get me where my home comforts and supports me. Thank you so very much.

Great post. I see my home as a sacred space and a reflection of who I am. Keeping it clean, organized and beautiful helps me to manage the complexities of life. And as you say, we have total control over it! 👏🏼

Such a great reminder to ask the other people in your home what they want to feel too. As a mom, it’s so easy to just run with my own ideas of what home should feel like.
