I love patchwork, and use quilts on all our beds. They look beautiful and ensure the dog (who loves beds too) can’t get into the actual bedding! Very tempted to crochet some cushion covers. And thanks to the link, the Canadian patchwork clothes look utterly fabulous.
What a stylish and great use for the handmade works of art. I have been a longtime maker of things and always think about my work ending up in a dumpster when I’m gone. There was a time that I hand stitched quilts. We always loved to have these in the living room, over a couch or to cuddle up when weather was cold. A quilt feels like a ‘classic’ and used in your home, they don’t need to fit the latest trend colours. Depending on the design of the quilt, they are really timeless!
