Hey Holly! I'm going through big transitions. I'm questioning my visual style because I need a home that nutures my focus. I'm a beautiful thing magnet...handmade, vintage, antique, and it works. In the past, I've "purged" from a place of FEAR, a lack of self-knowledge and therefore acceptance. This means I've "purged" things that really meant something to me because I was used to the pain of boundaries being completely disregarded. Now, I want to take better care of myself and my personal environment as well as the extention of that, the community, the world. How to stay in the Calm zone when working out what works for me is my current challenge. Suggestions? Love that you're here, Holly!
It takes some time to find out whether the space actually reflects me, doesn’t it?
We started renovating the ground floor of our farm house 2,5 years ago (don’t tell anyone, but the last touches and layers are not exactly there yet 🙈😳😄), and there are some corners of a room or some specific pieces of furniture or collections of different items, where I am still not sure, whether they actually reflect us. I guess it’s normal? And probably changing with time and experience? And the confidence probably comes with time, too? It’s just try and see, if it works and don’t be afraid to change it, if it doesn’t, I guess?
