He worked as decorative artist during the Victorian era and his own tiny home was a personal canvas. It’s quite a surreal step back in time. Highly recommend a visit. But you must book a tour in advance.
Hi there Holly - Such an interesting selection of wall murals. Most seem to have a whimsical look and feel. It has been a good number of years since I have taken any notice of wall murals or had the occasion to include into an interior project. What with the return and rapid momentum of wallpaper. There is a flavor that wall murals bring to a space, which wallpaper just can't imitate. Something so authentic about the pattern and the texture.
What a beautiful selection! There is something magical about the hand-painted wall murals... the softness, the imperfections, the way the light bounces on the texture... very romantic, playful and often simply mesmerising.
